Barbie and Charles are newly-weds visiting the east coast from their current city of Los Angeles.  They met in Boston years ago and still have family in the metropolitan area.  New England has a special spot in my heart so I couldn’t be more thrilled that the summer weather was amazingly pleasant for relaxed portraits in the city.

We took a carefree stroll from Shawmut Station to Charles River and the Boston Public Garden just talking about life and recounting their fateful journey back into each other’s lives.  These once mundane meeting places now ignited countless memories of courtship, young love, and longing as they recalled the many yesterdays they had spent together.  I hope they visit these moments vividly and emotionally, and always remember how complete they make each other feel.

Charles is a personal trainer and thus he absolutely cannot refrain from going shirtless at one point or another.  Interestingly, I don’t have shots of him buttoning down/up.  He distracts you with conversation as he goes for the shirt.  Before we knew it, BAM, abs in our face.  Cool.
