The morning of Katherine and Manny’s wedding, skies were gloomy and sprinkling with rain.  As I drove to meet Kathy at her home, I was anxious and excited as I pondered (as usual) how the day might unfold.  I thought about things like… How is the family like?  I wonder if the wedding party will think I’m cool.  Which corner am I going to sit at to gobble down my dinner.  Man, do people really get creeped out when they see me shoot with both my eyes open? Those are the typical petty thoughts I have while I drive to meet my couple and their family.

Kathy kept her classy composure like she was ready to tackle rocket science.  She showed up cool and unfazed by the rainy weather.  Her sweet smile was just as I remembered when we first met a year ago.  The dapper Emmanuel smiled from ear to ear as he waited patiently to see his beautiful bride walk down the aisle.  Their love and respect for each other is wholehearted and admirable, and I couldn’t be more honored to take part in their big day.

They vowed, they kissed, they wedded.
