Overlooking a beautiful sunset on a gorgeous late afternoon, Tien proposed to Jeannie by the pier on the beach.  Little did she know, he had been in contact with me for weeks to plan out how we would document that exact moment and reaction without her knowing.  After some elaborate coordinating, we pulled it off and Jeannie had no idea that the creepy photographer with the 12-inch lens was there to capture one of the most memorable moments of her life.  In fact, she didn’t even notice me.  If I were an undercover spy, I’d be pretty darn good at my job.

Despite the amount of beach patrons around eager to take photos of the beautiful setting sun, nothing seemed to exist except for the two of them.  He proposed right as the sun disappeared below the horizon, and she said Yes.

A couple months later, we met up again in Downtown Tampa for more portraits.  I love wandering around with no particular location in mind.  Every discovery of a new setting or perspective is a pleasant surprise.

There is something radiant about this image.  Jeannie’s laughter is completely uninhibited.  So natural.
