Kara + Win : Bayanihan Tampa Wedding
|
I had a great time mingling with lots of old friends, eating, drinking, and second shooting with my dear friend, Phil Alvar at Kara and Win’s wedding. We were also invited as guests, and I found myself switching on and off my heels in an attempt to look fabulous while also be steadfast shooting with ten pounds of gear. I spent the day mainly as Kara’s shadow. Giving all of my attention to Kara means I can focus on all the little moments as she gets ready in the chaos that is behind the scene of a wedding. These are the intimate and emotional moments many of her family and friends don’t see, yet are greatly compelling. Kara had many talented family and friends who helped make her day possible.
She tried so hard not to cry after reading a note from Win.
Special thanks to every bridesmaid for making my job so easy breezy. Girls just get it. They understand trigger words like “Vogue”, “fierce”, and “squeeeeeeze”.
Sweet couple…
A legitimate reason to wear sunglasses at your daughter’s wedding reception is when you get a little emotional during the father-daughter dance. I love a loving dad…
During an emotional speech by Win’s brother.
I’ll end with this sweet image of an uncle singing to Kara as she slow dances with her grandfather.
