Joyce Yong + Family : Class of 2010 University of South Florida Tampa

Once in a while, you meet someone who is completely textbook definition of smart, talented, artistic, kind, beautiful, and selfless. I’ve had the privilege of befriending said someone, and even though our conversations are sparse, she touches the hearts and lives of everyone she meets. I think her name is perfectly fitting of what she represents. This past weekend, Joyce and her mom graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from USF, my own alma mater. We all braved through a hot and humid afternoon at the campus garden, and were blessed with gorgeous light and beautiful spring flowers.
I love this one of Joyce. The strand of hair swaying in the wind, her proud parents in the background, the joy on her face, it’s completely story-telling. Something must have been funny?
Congratulations Joyce and Mama! Thank you for inviting me to hang out with your wonderful family, and sharing a moment of this tremendous milestone with me. Good luck in law AND med school! |
