Anki Patel : Tampa Harbour Island Lifestyle Portraits

My good friend Anki and I got together to do a fun shoot in Harbour Island yesterday. I like to do shoots like this once in a while so I can practice giving direction, calming the subject, interacting with the subject, etc. Many people don’t realize how important interaction is. It’s not the equipment or gear that we use that differentiates one photographer from another. It’s how we interact with our clients. It’s the chemistry, the relationship that we build that makes someone comfortable being who they are and allowing me to photograph just that. My favorites are still those undirected moments in between.
