Ironman Triathlon athlete, Marine, ice hockey player, math major, and educator.  Our conversation during the session was about his passion for cycling and competing in his races.  We’re actually very similar in the sense that we do what we do because we love it, and not for any other reasons.  We met at the nearby Starbucks and watched the rainy morning through the window as we talked over coffee.  This is my second weekend that I’ve had a rainy shoot like this, but I really thrive shooting in these conditions.  More so because I love the rain, and in turn love the photographer it makes me.  I’m more in tune, focused, and connected.

And to add, Ethan’s coolness level went up when I saw that most of his gear, including his car, is RED.  I love red =P

This is why Ethan and I get along.  Red defines us.

I didn’t know $400 handlebars existed, but then again, I don’t know anything about bikes.  I guess this is how people react when they find out how much I spend on lenses.
